Note: This is a post dated November 7th, 2006, from the old version of the blog, which is restored here due to its tremendous popularity. Update: NatchatrA’s Dr burN comments in Kosukadi, Thanking ‘yall for your support. But look hard, its our very own Chennai Update: It was shot in Malaysia, not Chennai This video looks like its shot in some foreign land. And btw the song and the beats sounds original to me, sounds like nothing that I have heard of. Hope to hunt around and buy the whole cd soon.

The song Madai Thirunthe instantly became my favorite and it would become your’s too. This is the first time I have heard a Tamil song build around Hip-Hop, leave alone songs which come in our Tamil movies which have meaningless rap bits thrown around here and there, this song is not of that kind and is real Hip-Hop. This song called “Madai Thirunthu” and all their other songs are styled around Hip-Hop and sound amazing. These guys have released one of music video from this album and it’s going rounds in youtube. My second post on music heh! Well this time it’s not about copied or ripped music but a post of acknowledgment and praise to a band called ‘Yogi-B & Natchatra’ a band from Malaysia who have released their debut album ‘Vallavan’ (not to be confused with our simbu).
